license plate light change

im trying to change my license plate lights on my altima coupe, but i cannot figure out how to get to the lights. Can anyone help? pictures? descriptions? anything helps! thanks

open the trunk and remove the clips holding the carpet to the truck lid, pull back the carpet, and then the lights should be easy to access.

ive tried that, but it seems like theres 2 yellow clips holding the piece that covers the lights on the trunk and i cant figure out how to remove them.

not sure what the yellow clips are, i don't think i have those on mine. what model do you have? maybe it's a new thing on the 2010+ models

nope, no yellow clips on mine. just remove the carpet and twist the part that holds the bulb 1/4 counterclockwise. maybe you're messing with the wrong wires???

figured it out. the yellow clips i think hold the casing on the outside of the trunk that protect the light covers. thanks for everyones help! that website really helped me. i ordered new LEDs from V-LEDs while sinse i had all the help i needed. im a noobie here at nico, i know now that i can come here for any help that i need =)

The whole process just took me 5 minutes tops after reading this thread; now I don't have to worry about driving home at night whenever I pick up illegal drugs to smoke (enablers). Thanks NICO
