License Plate Bulb Socket burnt out

Ok so my dumb newb a** must have done something wrong because I was installing my leds for my license plates and I checked the bulbs to make sure they lit up before putting everything back together, everything was good. I put everything back together and as I was getting ready to leave I go to check the lights and the left case was filling up with smoke
So now I have a burnt out socket and a light bulb case that's pretty much brown now due to the heat/smoke
Anyone know where I could find a new socket and the case?? I searched google, ebay, and here, so far nothing I'm guessing that I will have to go to the dealership for these parts ..?

I am not sure 2008 Nissan Altimas are in many junk yards right now so the dealer seems the only way to go. The problem is that they might not sell the bulb socket separately from the sub harness. So you may have to buy a very expensive harness.

Damnn that would blow lol. I took out the socket with the bulb fried in it with ease. I figured I would only have to replace that since it was that simple to remove but the case looks a little difficult to remove. I guess I'll be going to the dealership Monday

You should put in the stock bulb and tell them you noticed your lights were out, and upon checking it out you saw the fried harness and burnt case. Are you still under warranty?

Think I might be but too late now, I already ordered the socket for $20 including the tax. Should be coming today Thanks guys
