First I'd like to introduce myself, I have an 02 Pathfinder with a good number of mods (in my sig) and am quite active on the other Nissan/Pathfinder forums: NPORA (Karmann) and in the Nissan section of Expedition Portal. Anyway, I haven't quite made it over here that often at all for some reason, but would like to extend my greetings and apologies.

Anyway, I bought LED conversions for all of my interior lights, and they all went in great. However, when I tried to install my only exterior LED bulb (for the License Plate) the screws for the covers would not budge. I sprayed PB-Blaster all over the area every day for two weeks, and nothing. No matter what I did, it wouldn't budge. Any help?

PS: Admin: if you could change my user name to Karmann that would be wonderful.

So are they now stripped?

I always use a phillips bit and ratchet on rusty / stubborn screws. Just press down and turn.

I changed your name to Karmann.

Welcome to NICO!

I don't know if there's enough clearance for a ratchet head to be centered on the screw, is there?

I need to fix my license plate light... I also put an LED in there and every few months it wiggles out of the socket just enough to stop working. I'd suggest bending the leads outward before inserting the bulb into the socket, and using some bulb grease to help prevent corrosion.

They're not stripped, but won't budge. I've tried drill motors, hand screwdrivers, ratcheting screwdrivers (forgot the proper name) and it hasn't worked. Is there a way to go in from the inside panel? As in remove the interior tailgate trim?
