License Plate Bulb replacement

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Has anyone tried to replace the License Plate bulbs I want to replace with LED Xenon White. The manual says to bring it to the dealer

I did replace all interior lighting with Xenon LED lights from iJDMtoy.com Looks fantastic- pictures will not do it justice/ thinking about putting video on U-Tube.

Hey, for a novice...how exactly do you do this? I would like to replace the map lights and the ambient light (that slit) with blue lights. I have no idea what to do, any suggestion?

The manual shows you how to remove the lens on the map / door back personal lights and cargo. You can get Blue LED on Line at idjmtoy.com. Their lights are fantastic/ they come in blue, hyper white and red. I put HyperWhite in the maps/ cargo / and personal lights Now when you approach the car the Welcome lights will blow you away compared to factory. I installed Blue LED in the doors. Try then out you will not be disappointed. Good Luck

Thanks...any idea how to access and replace the ambient light next to the map light, that small slit that has soft white ambient light? That's the one I'm most interested in changing to blue, that has a cool feel and is on all the time (at night).

I installed the hyperwhite lights from ijdmtoy.com but I found the lights to be less bright than the stock halogen wedge bulbs. So I put the OEM bulbs back.

Did you find the same thing? Are there any brighter LEDs out there?

that's the problem - there are just SO MANY to choose from, all with different quantities of led's per unit. some have one, some two, four, 9, 12.,.. etc!

I want to try this also - with the map lights and overhead lights...and that one accent light that stays on between the map lights. White for all the lights except for blue on the always-on accent, just like the RDX has.
