Licence plates?

I see alot of the cars over in japan, have they're licence plates angled up. Why do they do this?

Im guessing to deflect a radar up in the air. but wouldnt this give a camera a nice shot? (or do they not have camers over there)

i would imagine it would be harder for radar to shoot them. But you dont need to hit the plate, thats just what they aim for, because it is low, and the middle of the car. Hmmmmm

i have read that alot of them put them on some kind of swivel thing so when you get going a certain speed the plate angles down towards the ground so those cameras at intersections cant see the plates. they have cameras that take pictures of speeding cars and they get tickets in the mail. i think i saw this on some import video.

Dam them speed cameras, They have speed cameras set up all over and they need two things to get you a nice fine! 1. A photo of your plate and a photo of you! Not one or the other both! So if you Take the front plate off and put it on your dash and flip up the rear you are covered. Or just cover your face
