I recently purchased the new LG Dare phone (Verizon's answer to the iPhone) and the bluetooth system does not recognize the in-car hands free system on my '07 G35 coupe (no nav. system). Has anyone else run into this issue or found a solution?

I seem to remember a few others having issues with the Bluetooth. You might want to do a quick search *points up* in the G-forums and make sure you search in the thread body.

Here's the opinion based portion of my reply. LG makes the worst phone right next to Audiovox. I would return the POS and get something better built I've had 2 or 3 LGs (kept warrantying them) and they all had issues. Specifically that they liked power cycling. I did some net searching and found that it wasn't only my phone...or even just my model. It wasn't even just on LGs through my provider. It was practically ALL LGs that had that issue among others. I used to think it was because they were Korean made, but I recently found out that Samsung is Korean too and they make some awesome phones.

Between my wife ,myself & 2 employees, we have owned over 12 LG phones, over the last 5 years. Our bus. requires us to contact Co's all over the US. , on a very demanding schedule. During that period of time we have had "0" PROBLEMS with the LG. My Wife is so Loyal to LG, that she totally refused my offer to buy her an "I "phone. I guess you cant please everyone. Some people out there even hate the Infiniti ! Jerry C

I've run into some problems and I have a Sony Ericcson w810i. The first time I tried to pair the phone, it worked and my finger slipped when entering the pin so I had to try again. Ever since I messed up the pin the first time, the phone refuses to pair with the car; I always get a failed connection and it asks me to retry.
