Lexus RX and Volvo Cx90 V8 ... tried to test my EX35 from VA to NC

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

While coming back from VA Beach to NC, a Lexus RX300 and Volvo SUV tried to test the EX35 on two separate occasions. They were coming fast from my back.I shifted to "DS" and pulled away ... it just pulled and pulled to 90-100 unbelieveably fast. Both just gave up after awhile.

Yeah, did the same thing the other day. Had an Acura RSX on my tail in the fast lane, got slowed down by a granny in the passing lane, she pulled in, shifted into DS and the Acura was wondering where I went.

I love the effortless acceleration at highway speeds. Only problem is that I have to watch out or a big ticket is coming my way!

You gotta have a Valentine 1 to watch out for the State Troopers and cops. It's expensive but its the best there is. So far, it has saved me so many times, and I had not had a ticket since I bought it in 2004. I like driving in the 90-110 range, so the V1 is a must.

You haven't met Mr Laser Gun yet, but you will. V1s and Escorts are pretty much useless against LIDAR. Buy a lottery ticket before your luck runs out.
