I have been unbolting them and lifting them out with a crane. This way is much faster. :bigthumb:

I'm going to change the topic a little bit because I noticed something here that cops usually get railed for. Number of times there have been stories where a suspect would steal a car and the police would give chase. Then suspect would lose control of car and kill an innocent bystander. First thing that happens is forum posters and local media get on the cops and accuse them of being responsible for the death of said so bystander because they gave chase to the "bad guy."

So in this video we see no police cruisers in sight but this guy does not slow down one bit and just continues to gas through each intersection eventually taking himself out. Now my question is, "Did backing off really make a difference in this chase?" I don't see it, the only thing I see is luck and chance playing a major role.

The more cars speeding through traffic, the greater the chance of taking out an innocent :gotme

I grew up in Tulsa, one of my best friends is TPD officer. He wasn't in the chase because he was way out in Broken Arrow when it was happening but, he called me later and told me about it. Always get some interesting stories from that guy.

If Tulsa hadn't cut 1/3 of their PD because of budget it might have ended differently.

I wonder how much they keep the Ghetto bird in the air. Seems like that expense would be cut before so many officers.

Way to go TPD.
