I just wish I got more sleep the night before. I was mumbling and feeling disoriented, and I forgot how to open the hood.

Jesda - Can you send those to [email protected] so he can put some of them in the "official" meets pics thread (and in the multimedia forum)?

Thanks man - It was great to finally meet you (and your Q!)

...and it drives just as a well-maintained Q45 should.

Good example to all other Q owners: If a 17-year-old student can maintain a Q45 as it should be, then there's NO excuse to let one go unmaintained.

Yes there is.

Today I took my iMac keyboard apart for cleaning and ended up with 5 screws leftover. Where the heck they came from I dont know.

Now imagine me pulling the plenum! I still have a pile of screws left from when I disconnected the two blown subs in the minivan.

There's a silver lining in all this I guess... the dealer knows my name and face. :) I love my Q too much to subject it to my handywork!

Yeah. I'm mechanically retarded. I am seriously contemplating keeping my new Q at Major Infiniti for all repairs since that's the only place it's been serviced. I figure that I really won't have to spend that much money since the previous owner spent around 19 cents per mile. (not including the new engine)

Nick :)

You're not mechanically challenged. You just have a few loose screws. :D

You are training your dealer. Once they know you know what they should know, they will begin to take as much pride in your car as you. They will brag about the 350K 90 Infiniti Q45 to the other techs at the tech bar and grill.

LOL if I had known that this meet had any bearing on you being permitted to attend future ones, I would have told your mom and dad I was a drug dealer and an illegal immigrant.

Just kidding. :D

leftover screws are just weight reduction, just like the missing plastic covers under the hood of Fred's Q. every ounce counts.

No doubt. Just keep removing them one at a time till she falls apart, then put one back.
