I emailed them, but they never reply

If I have a blown transmission, can I just ship it to them, and have them do the complete rebuild? It's quoted on their site at $3,500, is that about right? How high are all of your torque convertors set to, after the rebuild?

Providing your trans is not disentrigrated, yes. He will arrange the pickup & return shipping, it's included in the price. $3500 should include their system, with converter, but prolly not a billet one like AGM's. Stall would depend on intended use, a high stall generates a lot of heat, fwiw. Must have a good cooler. Don't get carried away with a high stall on a street car. I'm going to throw a number out there like 2200 for a good compromise. They'll ask the right questions to get you a good answer.

What's the turnaround time like?

Roughly two weeks, not including shipping.

The LevelTen steptronic shifting option for the Q45 may have excellent potential. If it could be activated via a switch as AGM had suggested rather then the clunky plug and play swap, it would be killer to manu shift...

Since I lived on the East coast at the time I took my car in while visiting realtives. It was ready in a week. Later, a problem developed with the trans freewheeling in third under deceleration. They sent a flatbed to Maryland to pick it up, fixed the problem, and delivered it back, all within about a week.

I think my converter stall is about 2400. Its a little "different" when accelerating slowly, especially up hills, and the uninitiated think its slipping. However, when you floor it and it downshifts, no matter what gear you are in, the engine is onto the torque peak instantly. Drivers of 540's, Mustang GT's, etc., not to mention the noisy little Civics, can't figure it out!
