I've never seen or heard anything about the J application, but on other stuff, I've always heard good things. Bullet-proof but PRICEY!

They gained their reputation on AT made to survive extreme high power turboing in a drag race.

Stock street has an entirely different set of parameters where a Nissan factory reman can be made to last 200,000 miles with annual ATF changes.

The transmission is the same as in a 300zx non turbo so plentiful..................and cheap from dealers [if you can get the 25% discount given to shops] $1800 exchange + freight.

RE4R01A is model number.
