Passed on the one in Alabama but I've got two strong contenders in mind, one an M-edition! Just need to know what happens with this POS Porsche before I go buying more cars.

Grrr....

I like older German cars, the ones you could still wrench on without disturbing two dozen computers that require a $150 dealer reset.

The late model stuff (02+) is more delicate than a wine glass in a hammer factory. Hate it.

Twin-turbo Z06... :)

...but that XF is a hoot. Very reminscent of the G50, just more powerful and 'balanced' - Definitely a great car to get in a LOT of trouble with! :)

Yep your in tripple digets before you know it.

I think your next car is an XJL Supercharged... its the same drivetrain as my XFSC but through use of exotic alloy's lighter

And you can always spend the $2000 for the pulley and chip to make it the performace equal to the XJL SuperSport you saw at the gas station. This one has been for sale for months... http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/4232803729.html

Close. I'd rather have an XJLR. I'm hoping Jag will do an XJLR-S because batsh@t. Ditch the boyracer wing that ruins the XFR-S, add more stately class, and you've got the most appealing sedan that's been built in a very long damn time. Jaguar's ability to seamlessly combine class and hoonage in the same car is amazing.

XJ looks so much better in long wheelbase format (as do all big sedans).

Oh, also, XJL weighs 3900lb. 550i weighs 3800lb. The 550i is a vastly smaller car. Why are Jag and Audi still the only ones using aluminum en masse in their cars?!

Back on topic - Not one thing I'd change about this. Makes me want an NA as well, now.

WOW that NA looks perfect perhaps ditch the top?...

I should have mine running soon I'll bring it over. I put off spinning wrenches this week for paint because the weather is perfect for it.

MOD the XFR-s needs something to keep the car planted, that wing is stoooopid but trust me when I say if it had wings the XF would achieve flight at around 170 mph... Greg might know something about that? I think XJL Supercharged might be my next car. For $2000 any current supercharged Jaguar can have the 600 hp that the RS cars have. They all have the same supercharger, motor, transmission and diff. The only drivetrain change is a pulley and software.

Yeah, that car needs some sort of aero, Chris... it's ugly, but functional, and that matters.

We found that with the goofy-looking decklid piece on the Touring Qs - Front-end lift at 140 is frightening, even if it's not really "dangerous", per se.

Do you have welding sleeves & an apron? Harbor Freight sells an auto darkening helmet that is sweet to use as soon as you spark it goes black automatically it is the coolest tool I own. When I first bought oxy acetaline I kept lighting the torch without the helmet on and partially lost my eyesight for a night. Be careful.....

I'm forced to spend time in Las Vegas this week for work with a Mustang convertible rental car that I always get. I might get some clear coat applied before I leave but I won't finish it.

Not yet - Got a helmet, though... at least temporarily.

Need to go get a bottle, too.
