I am telling you that the most uncomfortable thing in the entire Z is the way my knees feel after a long drive. Has anyone come up with a good idea for putting a knee bumper next to the shifter and then around the front door area to rest your knee against without it feeling like you have accually been on your knees for awhile? Please tell me someone has fabricated a good idea here!!

You can pick up a replacement interior panel to rest your right (driver) or left (passenger) knee on through courtesyparts.com.

I'm not sure about anything on the door. I haven't ever had a problem w/ that side but am definately thinking about getting the panel for my right knee.

Post a thread on here and evaluate it if you end up picking it up...

I have taken a pair of black, kensington gel wrist wrests for a mouse pad (about 5 inches wide and curved vs Keyboard long rectangle shape) stuck to my interior. One on left armrest for elbow and one on side of center console where right side of my gas pedal knee rubs. I'm very happy with this. Before I did the gellies, I had a hole in the elbow of my left sleeve on many shirts and got in trouble at work. They were like, damn, you drive so much your elbow wore a hole in the sleeve? On five shirts? Damn! I think I want another one to put under my heel to pivot on when using gas because the upper back part has a big callous and still gets sore after a few hours of driving.

How did you attach it them? Did you have snaps, velcro or?

Thanks

Sorry about being slow, I must not have checked the email subscription box. Double sided tape. Man, I think all new car interiors should have leather, mesh and squishy gel things. Oh and heated seats.

Ummm, my knees don't come anywhere close to the pad in my Z. You must be tall, or your seat is really close to the steering wheel
