Ok so im sourcing out parts for my sr swap and i have a question about downpipes. My car is very low and i have 3 pipes that i am looking at

the greedy dp megan racing dp with the flex thingeb store stainless downpipe

I need peoples opinions on if its better to get a downpipe with a flex pipe or a solid pipe. im just worried about clearance and it hanging to low and scrap. any insight into this is appreciated.

bottom mount right? use the Stocker. take it to a machine shop and have it honed.

don't waste the money - it wont make your car faster.

the stock DP is fine

The greddy one is way more expensive than it needs to be. It fits but its probably the crappiest thing they make, it's thin wall mild steel which resonates the exhaust pulses and makes it sound like youve got a bit of an exhaust leak.

The flex joint on the Megan piece rubs on the underside of the car and you may very well catch stuff with it cuz it does bulge a bit. Also the transmission bracket on the one I had didn't reach but they might have fixed that by now?

If you dont already have an aftermarket O2 housing / elbow, consider the Circuit Sports downpipe, since the piping is oval and it has a cast O2 housing already on it. Plus its stainless.
