Ive got objectdock all the way aound, you can see anything unless I want it to (what you see on the left, is actually on all the borders. It only appears when I drage my mouse over it).

System metrx on the bottom shows all the important stuff.
think i got you on minimalism

with tool bar unhidden

That's because all the icons are hidden . That doesn't really count. 180crafter's desktop is easily usable.

I see. That's a good idea, but I've found that a few things are much easier to have shortcuts on the desktop them having to use the start menu

ALso, check out litestep. It's an awesome GUI, AND it's much smaller and faster then Explorer.

You can download whatever "skin", it's not really a skin because you can change functionality, that you want, or you can make/edit your own. The basic GUI that comes with litestep has a nice feature that when you right click on the desktop it brings up a start menu right there

You can use all of your desktop right from the toolbar, so it counts...!! You just need to turn the option on. Look at my wallpaper by the clock.

And originally, I didnt even have the sysmetrix running all the time on the bottom. But I added the functionality to use it as buttons, So i can click on certain parts of it and it does what I want.

The only problem (any input would be great) is diabling all the pop up stuff ehile Im playing a game. Playing rise of naions on this chit is monster hard. As soon as you get to the areas that pop up... the RON minimises (wihtout pausing).

1280x1024. Resized for her pleasure.

Mac OS X "Tiger", iChat, Transmission, Synergy for iTunes. The Quagmire icon in the lower right is Wes's minimized AIM window.

Yeah, dual monitor. I use the 17" low res monitor pretty much just for iTunes and to watch movies when I'm doing other work on the nicer 19" monitor. I love dual monitor, now that I've had it for so long I can't stand working w/ just one.
I have two monitors too. how do you make two pictures show up? Everytime I add a picture to my desktop it shoes up on both monitors.
