I spent my last off day scouting for a turkey hunting spot (1st year), I went to an area where I had seen turkey before and on my way in I stopped at a little partially dried mud hole to look for random tracks. At first glance I spotted a few deer tracks, coyote tracks then I came across the pictured track, not the best of pics (cell) or best imprint by the animal all though there were others this one was the most complete. The pic also does not show the claws that were also imprinted into the mud.

Please share your thoughts on this. I'm also located in northern Alabama if that helps.

Thanks

Too wide for a dog. If the claws were out it probably isn't a big cat either. I'm also going with bear.

I'd go with bear on that one.

Or a Liger

If claws were out it's probably the track of the dreaded ex-wife.

Must be a Bear of an x-wife! I'd go with a baby black bear also.
