Enjoy it while you can, at the expense of good hearing later on in life. Thankfully I missed the Walkman/Discman/IPOD craze and noise pumped directly into your ear canals- an can still appreciate a fine home Hi Fi system at middle age.

for them small baby 12's i hit 137dB destroyed my whole rear deck tho even the amps on the rear speakers of about vibrate off

yeah my read deck is destroyed im gonna have to take it out and reinforce it and dynamat it. i already cut out a huge whole for air flow (spl) for the subs

Wow you replied to my same post twice.I never said I don't like car audio.We have an audio section and also you can always go back to your old one and bring the life back. Anyways my new system si to be put on soon after I get my RCA plug-in from my head unit repaired and buy my new subs. I'm having some trouble on getting the right set up though so might take me awhile.

well i blow up my rear deck speakers, cracked the rear deck. So tonight i took it all out and it stopped the rattling. Except...... my trunk lid needs more dynamat. So i guess ill put a second layer on then i should be good.

OH yeah one other thing. Im prolly selling my subs tomorrow or monday. And guess what IM GOING BIGGER!!!!! im sticking with 12's just going with more POWER!!!!!!! now i really can go swingin and bangin

if you got the money and you want lots of power check these subs out http://www.incriminatoraudio.com/ look at the death penalty's. my buddy has to DP 15's in his truck and they straight destroy everything in sight. I'm talkin brokin dash, mirrors fallin off the truck, back glass shattering, and just straight up 1500watt rms continuous power. they can even do 2500watt rms burbs. oh yeah he does hair tricks.

as for as the 12's, there 1500watts rms too and they only require 2.5cuft per sub. so if you wanna do what i might do get two of them. a single chambered ported box with 2 DP's requires at lease 5cuft net and then box with port should come out to be around 7-8cuft gross and if you design it right it will fit our trunks

no thats just crazy power

but if cant afford that which i know i cant im buying 2 of my buddys massive audio DC12's http://www.massiveaudio.com/st....html they are the next step up from what i got now and only 100watts more but the spl level is way higher and xmax is twice as much. TW's xmax is 24mm. DC's xmax is 40mm. thats a lot of air to move
