Actually no! LOL It sounds like a punctured can letting out pressure, but only on [major] acceleration.fueler wrote:Basically it is loud on a cold engine but the noise dies down after the exhaust heats up and the metal expands. Does this sound like you?
That's what i thought...i'm still looking into it.tmorgan4 wrote:Headers on these vehicles are supposed to give a pretty good gain as far as sound and power. Don't expect it to give 30hp, but if you look at the stock ones you'll see that they weren't designed with performance in mind.
Went to American Muffler...it was roughly $500 i can't recall the exact number plus another $100 when i got resonators put on cuz it was a little too loud.97QXFOUR wrote:i like that alot...where did you go and how much did they charge you??....and also i have the tow thing on my truck..do you guys things i can still put an exhaust like this

I'm just gonna fix all the issues, that being one of them.AlabamaDan wrote:Looks really cool. I had that same look on an old muscle car. You shoud do a little movie and let us hear it.
So, I guess you're keeping it?
Gas mileage seems to have increased...although i haven't calculated it yet. And response is better.SnowSurfLax wrote:Are you getting any gas mileage/performance increase with that exhaust? Or is it just for sound?
Actually i have not, but i need to replace an 02 sensor and replace the roof!!!AlabamaDan wrote:Glad to know you're keeping it. I'm keeping mine till - well indefinately. I just need to replace my CV Axles. What other gremlins you got to fix? Did you do the timing belt?

Thanks for the link, for the last few day's I've been trying to find a company that manufactures LED's for my interior. Have you done those or just the reverse lights?

I think I'm gonna try these guys out for my interior, which bulbs, which ones did you get for the reverse lights? I'm wondering if I replace those with some cool whites will that overexpose my backup camera.99QX4 wrote:I just did the license plate bulbs but they have a lot of diff bulbs i really like the site.
