daddy bought himself a Christmas present.

Eaton M112 off of a Ford lightning. That picture isn't mine but same style. Less than 20K miles on it $250. Couldn't pass up the deal. I've already come up with a plan to mount it. Probably will stick with a larger pulley that will net 5-8 PSI. I think the stock fuel system should be able to handle that. I have a spare motor that I will use to mock it up before it goes on the car.

Hoping to net 400-430 HP at the wheels when it's all said and done.

Probably not going to run an IC since it will be low boost and a big blower.

 :naughty:

After seeing this post it really got me thinking about where one would mount this type of supercharger and I cannot think of anywhere it would fit, unless it was mounted on a custom intake manifold of sorts. Where do you plan on placing it?

It will be on a custom manifold replacing the upper intake plenum

I have been looking to get into this myself..... one of these days..

but my plan was to get a set of matching lower plenum sections cut um a bit. or make a new flange with injector ports. and make a flat oval plenum and bolt the SC to the top of it, only think I do worry about.. (without taking any measurements yet) is the snout of the SC being a bit far forward of the engine.. and a bit high. so the hood would need to be cut for it to clear.

But my plan also wouldn't quite work with stock fuel rail, since the lower runner would all be the short straight ones.

I hoped my ramblings helped ya figure out how you could do it!

LEMHEAD16, I'd def fit an IC- or atleast use a water injection system like Aquamist. Remember that the VH is quite high compression. It'll need all the help it can get.

I'll be watching this thread with interest too

do also remember that roots blowers are the worst of the lot (when it comes to supercharger efficiency)...with temps 300*+F on the outlet as stated before a ic or atleast some kind of water meth would be a good way to save the engine.

I'm aware of the "Heaton" issues. I'll probably run water/meth injection
