Well here is the 2nd stock SR on the board, although not as clean! I never thought I would see another SR with a stock airbox!

That's signal red powder coat, did it in the garage with our old kitchen oven. LOL

Anyway, it's an 94 S14 SR20DE (obviously)S13 DET hardware (manifold, T25, modified downpipe since it's not in a 240sx)450CC DeatschWerks injectorsBosch 023 fuel pump"JDMSport" eBay intercooler"Greddy" Type RS blowoff valve (eBay knockoff, came with the intercooler piping)Stock ECU running my own tuneAnd my custom built water+alcohol injection system (cuz 10:1 compression and 11PSI boost... yea, knock = bad)

Sucker pulls HARD.

Edit:Oh, hey... Are you still using your original plug wires and rotor/cap?I still haven't found ones that will work.

thanks for your setup.i knew the motor cold handle boost well.but high comp. i don't plan on going past 10lbs..

and if im correct.someone told me(shop owner of NSP) that the KA distributor/cap and plug wires should work.

a local guy( owner of nsp) here has a turbo s13 N/A sr..hes the one that informed me of this

what's up man, I was just about to tell you I could give you a little rundown of our setup. We just got our ecu back and it is running awesome. When you come buy you can check it out in detail. honestly tho, I would suggest you going over to coil packs if you can. They are more reliable in the end. After you run hard boost for so long, the spark plug wires will need to be changed more often.

No problem.

I heard that about the KA cap/rotor, but I've read that it doesn't fit as well. Maybe I'll just cough up the cash and find out.

i was thinking about coilpack conversion for some time now

but wouldn't the Ecu and Interior plug need to be repined for the coilpacks?

i don't mess with wiring.but if someone would be willing to do it for me that knows howid be down for it.i know coilpacks are more reliable in that situation.

but as long as i could replace the plug wires i don't mind having to replace them more often.

the the coilpack conversions def. a good idea.and yeah i asked about the setup but it would be nice to get a rundown in detail on the setup.

cuz im kind of apprehensive about drilling holes in my block o make boost work..there has to be another way

Drilling and tapping the block wasn't too bad, I did it with the engine still in the car, but I would recommend taking it out as you have to pull the upper aluminum oil pan.And I get my oil from the oil pressure sender location, just a tee with the stock sender and a -3an fitting.

I would say to have a shop that's familiar with the SR do the drilling/tapping, if you aren't comfortable with doing it yourself.

There really isn't any way around it, there isn't a reliable alternative unfortunately.

ah.guess thats my only route.

luckily NSP had done it.

it just scares me to drill holes in something soo important.. ha

but all this is planning.i plan to boost since the motor seems to be in good shape..

and this thread has entirely changed direction....
