I wish my engine bay was as "dirty" as yours.

What all is done to the motor? What compression are you running? I am building a higher then stock compression rb20.Emperor87 wrote:Built, high compression, rb20det

Yea. I am running map sensor. It's on microtech ltx-16 and I don't have the catch can setup that way anymore. Check the "highest hp out of a stock rb25" thread. I guess that is true that the air is not metered that way. To tell you the truth, map is the way to go. I have no idea why most people go with the pfc if it still uses maf. I think maf is the s*** of the s***. I have never had so many problems with anything like that in my life. With map I can even run the car with no ic piping connected, basically filter on the tb. And the sci I got was almost the same price ad pfc and came with a completely new harness. Non of that old wiring.OutToWinPAHC wrote:bkos90 wrote:Here is mine, still needs a few things like the intake valve cover plugged where the filter is atm
Looking at this photo i see you must run map, but with this set up aren't you sucking air right threw the breather filter through the catch can and right into the turbo? If so and you were MAF this would be a source of unmetered air, correct?
Did you flip and trim the clutch fan to make it fit or is that not necessary in s14 with OEM radiator?andres14oj wrote:[img]https://forum-attachments.sfo2.digital ... 15.jpg[img]
