For a $100, in the form of a question Who makes this Ex Mani???

http://cgi.ebay.com/SKYLINE-RB...wItem

Looking for this mani, but not gonna pay actual money for it.I'll pay some Egay price for it, cause i'm sure its just another Chinese mani, but different design.

Looks really nice and clean! Crazy bends, nice design, but it costs wayyy to much to not have a name brand.I would say its prolly made by OBX?? But just a guess, I wouldn't buy that tho without seeing how it fits.

Looks like the flange placement will cause interference with a decent sized compressor housing. Does anybody have a pic of it with their turbo mounted?

I just sent a message to the seller.Hopefully he'll hit me back wit some info.

I've only seen this mani 2 times before this.

I assume that it fits like the SS Autocrap one. The bolt holes are not 100%, the runners are in the way on some of the lower studs.

But I have a T3/To4e on the SS Autocrap one an the compressor housing does not hit the runner at all. Unless you clock the discharge nozzle all the way to the left.

OK I finally found it!!!

It's a knock-off of the HPI and Kazama manifold from Japan. The HPI has a Plate with a serial # welded onto it. And the Kazama Manifold had a different material for the flanges.

It is a SS Autocrap mani.

Here it is:http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1358

I'm gonna get it. I'll let you guys know how it fits. And I'll compare it to the other SS Autocrap. Now I have a little mini welder so I'm gonna brace it up and throw it on since I have to change a stud in the head. (PITA)Plus just to be safe I'm gonna attempt to fab a brace for the actual turbo, to take the weight off of the mani. So it wont crack as soon.

So I just got the manifold from HPF Chris.

It is made by Xspower/SSautocrap

I haven't put it on yet, so I'm not sure how it fits. But from just looking at it and measuring, there are a couple differences from this manifold to the usual Stock sytle SSautocrap mani.

The head flange is thicker on this HPI/Kazama knock off.

The Turbo flange is the same thickness.

The Primary tubes are the same dia., but when they merge, its a larger dia. tube.

(I had measurements, but I didn't write them down or remember them)

Con: There are no braces on this HPI knockoff. The other SSautcrap mani has 7 Triangular pieces of metal bracing each runner to the head flange and one bracing the Turbo flange to the "collector"

It does look like it will be a bit easier to bolt this manifold to the head.I remember that I had problems with the nuts on some of the studs.

So this time around, when I get to changing the manifold and my stud, I'll switch a couple to Allen/Socket head cap screws instead of studs.

Hopefully this manifold will have the same placement as the other SSautocrap mani.If not my Downpipe (which has to be fixed anyway), IC piping will not line up.

Oil and water lines will be ok, except for maybe the Oil drain.

I'm kinda interested to see how this mani will perform and sound.I would assume that it would perform decently, since they just copied the HPI/Kazama design. But we'll see how well they copied it.

Now I've been reading up on Bracing the turbo, to take the weight off the mani.I've been hearing mixed thoughts.(Might start a new thread for this)

Some say its good.

Some say its bad. Due to the different rates of expansion.

I did plan on making my own brace for the turbo. Either going from the block to the turbo or flange. Or the head somewhere to the turbo or flange. (haven't looked/thought it through too much yet)

But now I'm thinking I might see if I can get some pieces of Stainless and have them welded to this mani, just like the other SS autocrap mani. (bracing runners & Turbo flange)

is there a thread of aftermarket manifolds/turbo combos? if not wanna make one?

id rather divert my $50 in spacers towards a $150 manifold. but there is soooo many different types, all designed for a skyline and not our swaps.
