It's been a little under a month that I picked up my Versa.

I drive up to get gas and my tank cover won't open

Meanwhile, this really sweet guy is doing his darndest to help me, but to no avail.

I'm tempted to call roadside assistance at this point. Instead I figured out the cable must be disconnected to the lever. Filled up my tank and off I went.

I'm calling maintenance Monday.

Your not the first person. Some one else on here had there hood release cable pop off. It is no big deal your dealer should be able to pop that back in no problem.

Mine was like that when I bought it, but they fixed it.
