Looks like all the data in so far leans toward Obama winning. That should not be a surpise as all the polling has been pointing that way for weeks.

So, if you are a Democrat and you are happy about your favorite guy winning.. Congrats! Be cool about it, don't insult the other side. We don't need weeks worth of "I told you so threads".

If you are a Republican, and your guy lost. Deal with it! Don't lob insults at the other side. Don't "take your ball and go home". Don't whine and complain about things. We don't need weeks worth of "it isn't fair" threads.

Let's continue to keep this forum active and exciting. Let's have some great conversation about the future we're heading in.

Just wanted to save that, talk to you in four years.

The people who facilitated this will be held responsible. Oh and #1 person on that list would be John McCain because I have never seen a campaign run with that level of inneptitude.

I will be busy pulling all my money out of the market and hiding it from "the one" and his programs, mothballing any plans to advance in any way and concentrating on just surviving the nuclear winter that is coming. I figure by the end of four years of this goof we will have a real chance for positive change

The last time Dems ran the whole show it wasnt pretty, and the public gave the GOP the US House in 1994, forcing Clinton to abandon his left-wing agenda and govern center-right while giving lip service to the far left.

No party should have that much power. Remember the GOP from 2004-2006? Not good.

I really, REALLY, hope I am wrong about Obama. I would love to look back 4 years from now and say I was wrong (and I would). I think the chance of that is about nil.

Obama wanted change and it's here. No more blaming Bush. Blame will all be on the Dems from the President to the House, Senate, Congress.

So, I expect the troops to be pulled starting in Jan. If they are not pulled then he is already a liar.

They will be pulled, and sent right into Afghanistan, because public opinion isn't against that conflict yet.

Couldn't have said it better myself! I, myself, am a McCain supporter. Obama came out on top, I accept that. This is my first election that I have participated in and followed closely throughout, and I have to say, it's been quite an experience. I've learned quite a bit about the election process.

Obama will do whatever General Petraeus tells him to do, because he's not that dumb. Sorry, liberals, but while your new hero might be what you perceive to be the second coming of Christ, he's not a moron. He'll probably lean on those who know better. This is not a popular time to defy military leadership.

I've decided to join Obama in his holy reign. I will now take tons of drugs, hurt people and spread corruption whenever possible. Screw responsibility and accountability. FTW
