The hood rod on my 2016 won't stay latched to the holder. The part that it clips into, not the part where it rotates.
Every time I open the hood, I find flopping rod.
Anybody else had this and found an easy fix?
I've used tape - of different kinds - but it eventually comes loose. What else to try?

The hood rod clamp is $6.55 list, p/n 65722-ED01A. Try a new one?

Thanks for the part #. You saved me some searches. I figured that is what I would eventually end up doing I just wondered if anybody had done any creativeness. I guess not.

I've seen guys use all sorts of zip-tie and coat-hanger arrangements, but those are never very tight. The only DIY fix I ever saw that seemed to work well was a screw with a fender washer JB-Welded onto it, then sunk just far enough into the broken fitting to work with the remaining half of the lip. Lot of work for a part that's almost always under $10, though!
