I don't think there is anything TO burn there....aside from the thousands of deadly things.

I've been known to shoot at spiders smaller than that.

I once vacuumed up a smaller spider than that one and left it on for a few minutes...came back out again.

When I lived in TN, there was a writing spider that took up residence on my front porch. She would build a web across the columns leading down the steps to the driveway every night. The webs were so beautiful that I didn't have the heart to tear them down. I just hopped off the side of the porch and let her be.

However, that being said, if I catch ANY spider in the house....SQUASHED LIKE GRAPE!!!!!!

We get those Hunstman spiders here. I have been traumatized several times by them. Once I was on the can and looked down, one bigger than that right by my knee on the wall. The worst was waking up with one standing on my crotch. I knocked him out, BAD TOUCHING!

My ex had such a fear of spiders that I used to have to kill them for him. One night he calls me into the bedroom in a state of panic / hysteria. There's a spider, about the size of a quarter, on the wall. He's standing in the middle of the bed, jumping up and down like a scared little 7 year old girl, "kill it! kill it!" :chuckle: :rotfl

Snapped this little beastie last weekend on the hood of a car.

I leave spiders alone unless they're posing some danger. I even let the black widows stay around outside the house as long as they're out of the way.

F That... I cant stand spiders. After watching the movie "arachnophobia" when I was a kid has seriously made me uber cautious when I go to the can. I check the whole damn bowl before I plop down for releif, same goes with the shower.

Agree.

When I was a child I would feed the spiders on my front porch. Snatch up a moth and chuck it into the web, sit back, and watch the mayhem.

I had a spider crawl across my desk earlier. Trapped him in a container with small holes in the top. Way smaller than he was. Walked into the bathroom and he managed to fit through one of the holes and landed on the wall. Just sitting there staring me down. I cussed him out and he ran like a little ho. Almost got away but I kicked the rug at the wall and I managed to injure him and drop him into the toilet. I don't think any other spider has ever gotten as much hate speech as that one did.

meh, the guy is stupid. If spiders scare him so much he should execute them, not try to save them. I kill on sight.
