And without further ado, paint pictures!

Mmm...smooth

That's better!

The doors are going to be a little bit before they get hung. I want to have my roll bar put in first so I can route the seatbelts over the harness bar. So I'll be rocking the old doors for about a month or so more.

All in all, I'm very happy with the way it all turned out. We stuck with the factory super white (obviously) and did a charcoal/gunmetal grey on the bottom. I'll get the color code later since the he matched it to a nissan color.

We couldn't save the stripe tape since it was so old and ratty. He saved the one spot where it says Limited Edition on each side, but he taped the car back off and color matched the tape and sprayed it on.

I'll tackle putting all the nit bits back on this weekend.

Nice job.

Reminds me of those guys w/ white cars that run the black body kits, though. HAHA.

Dang, somebody stole all your lights!

Paint looks fantastic. The lower grey is a bit darker than I expected, but still looks great. I can't wait to see it all put back together now.

I was amazed at how close the color of the wheels and the bottom matched. It really ties the wheels to the car now.

I like the dark bottom. Now we have to wait for you to get around to finishing assembly.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the paint jobs, guys. I probably won't contribute until early fall. TCE is getting a paint booth and we're putting it in my shop, so it'll be exciting.

I like the hood and trunk shots. I'm impressed. That's some quality work. Don't see and orange peel or flaw. Did you take of the bumpers? I hope you did. I hate paint and clear coat start peeling from the joints.

I completely tore the car down for the shop. I think he rehung the fenders when he shot them, but the bumpers were definitely shot off the car.

Dang!! It must be a very good shop. All the bumper lines were perfect, so I thought they never took them off.

The car's finally completely back together and running, although the doors haven't been swapped over to the new, coupe doors. I'll try to snap some pics of the final product later this week if the weather clears up enough to get a good photoshoot in.

After a few weeks of procrastinating. I finally got my seatbelts put in and started the door swap. Thanks to mother nature and time constraints, I only got the driver side door swapped on. I needed to get a good photo of the car taken so I could submit it for the '09 calendar.

I'll get the other door hung later this week or maybe over the 3 day weekend.

Hotness!

Screw the nico calendar. We need a vert calendar. Who cares if it's the same cars every year!

I was tempted to have my body guy relay the pinstripe, but now I'm digging the lack of it.

I was actually thinking that very same thing. I can come up with at least 12 calender worthy cars right off the top of my head. Plus I know of anther 5-6 projects that are close to being there soon as well.

The question is: Could we sell enough 'vert calenders to make it worthwhile to have them printed???

cafepress.com

dsmtuners.com uses cafe press and they are just fine. They're no where near the quality of the Nico calendar, but there's no overhead. Start a new thread to get input and gauge interest. We've got plenty of time to put something together in time for 2009.

I'm down. Sounds like a good idea. I agree that there are easily enough verts worthy of a calander. Cafepress.com is a great tool as well. One of the Mods should def start a thread reguarding this!

BTW, your car is coming along nicely!!

I am down for a vert calender as long as mine is in it.
