K, my very first time at the track ever.

Redtop, 91 hatch, Apexi FMIC, TurboSmart BOV, 2.5" dp, 3" Apexi N1, stock clutch, machined flywheel, 12psi, walbro 255, street tires, and a massive stereo in the rear. Oh yeah, and some C12 fuel.

13.7 @ 102mphR/T = .7460' = 2.1

Any good?? Considering I am at 2700 feet above sea level, and the clutch was slippin like a mofo. What do you think will happen with a stripped car, slicks, and a new clutch??? Anyone?

Thanks guys.

Exactly, close to sea level. I'm not nearly close. Wish I was though.

that is very good for a first time at a drag strip. I have seen faster times with an stock setup but your MPH is right where it should be.

Is that on the t25? also can you run 12psi with a FMIC on 93 octaine (Premium in MS) I'm getting excited. I was only hoping for high 14's (i'm at sea level)

At seal level, with those mods, you should be into strong 13 second territory. I was at 2800 and went 14.49 @ 97.56 on 7psi and 91 octane.

Yup. stock T25 on C12 fuel, which is like 112 octane, I think, something like that, give or take.

Yeah my buddy is running a SMIC and 12psi, and his best time was 14.3 @99 or something like that on the speed. Try upping that boost a bit. Although 12 might not be too safe with the SMIC.

Your problem is your 60' it sucks. You need to learn to launch the car. That is my main problem. Your mph is real good though. Thats a 14.3-14.5 for our cars. Cut a 2.0 60' What tires you on? 195/60H15 's? :D

Justicc greetings.. I'm from the gulf coast!

I get 2.3's with the JDM lsd and a BONE stock car. (Steelies ( i don't have an se) and the tires from 93 (dryrot)) Will the sr20 cause launching difficulties? I have a JUN flywheel in the garage also. What are the theories about it and drag launches?

Oah and what kind of ambient temps are you gusy running these times at?

Mine was at 12 degrees celcius, so that would be ummmmmmmmmm, 53 degrees F. So it was nice and cool. Also it was with a severe head wind. Ah well.

the tire size is 205/55r16and what do you launch at buudlaunching at 3500 seemed to be the best for me (still a little bog) tryed launching at 4000 (no bog damn near blew the tires off the car)

so how should I launch?

you need to rev to 4000-4500 and slip the clutch out. don't just engage it. you have to let it out until its barely moving, then floor the gas, while letting the clutch out more and more without letting the rpms fall too much. its not great on a clutch...this drag racing stuff. i launched the other day for the first time with my bee r revlimiter. cooL! i had 5psi of boost at 4000rpm, with the clutch in. then let her rip! instant boost. btw, i have some new falken tires, and they grip great, so get some good performance tires too, or drag radials. and practice practice practice your launch.shaun
