i've been researching for the last week or so, and for a rb swap into a s13:r32 gts cross membersyko mount kitsome driveshaft that fitsslim fansand the wiring of course.

Im not really worried about shooting for high hp or anything right now, but just to do drop a rb in, is that all and correct. thanks

ive been trying to read them and have. I was thinking that i need to go with the rb25det s1 since its going to be in a s13. Oh and it needs to be a r33 gts-s cross member if im not mistaken. that will bolt right up right?

Yeah it will bolt up... dont take this the wrong way but you may want to lurk on here for a while or read up somemore on what it takes... its alot harder then buying a mount kit and dropping it in...

ok, i thought it would. Thats interesting though, i have been reading and i was under the impression it would set better with the gts x member instead of the mount kit. I know one of syko's mount kits is only designed to be used that way, do they have another? One q on the wiring with the white f4 plug, are you chopping and splicing the ka plug to the rb harness to mate with the chassis m plug or just re-pinning the rb f plug to mate with the chassis m plug

It does sit better with the r33 x member, i mean it was made for that car but the syco mounts would still be needed. that or you can make your own. I have the 240sx x member with a mount kit and it works just as well. i welded mine to my x member just to ensure they could handle the torque and whatnot. The only reaso i did this is my engine didnt come with the r33 x member just the motor and trans and not even the mount brackets! Good luck man.The wiring is way over my head! Maybe Evan can chime in, he helped fix mine and i know made his own!

Ok, thanks man! I really cant wait to get started on this. Im kicking 600hp h22 honda build to the can for this one. So that means i have about 3k worth of stuff in my room to get rid of so far haha. I havnt ran across a swap yet that came with the r33 x member but they're only around 140 + 40-60 shipping and ill deff be getting syko mount kit too for another 5xx so it should be well worth it. I hope someone come with the wiring lol, i have just about all the diagram i just need to get the "idea" behind it to know what exactly im re-pinning/hacking
