Whenever I see someone who uses that site I wonder what they would say to a guy asking for directions to the nearest gas station.

A bit of a difference between someone lost in a car, and a person sitting at a computer connected to the internet though.

When it takes you 12 seconds to open google then type in the name of something, and you don't because you are too lazy to research yourself, or two stupid to realize its an option its one thing. If your in a car where you don't have much available to you besides what is in your car it is another.

How about this... Why are people such d!ck that they expect to be spoon fed the most simple information because they cannot be bothered to look it up personally?

But beyond all that.... Quit f***ing crying. The site is a joke, its meant to be humorous.... and it is (or was). Nope. I never complained about those threads she made at all.I said she has no right to complain when she is making threads like that.The point was not that she should be nicer... It was that she should not complain about me being "mean" when she is starting random threads just to talk s*** about people behind their back.

I am expressing my opinions TO THAT PERSON. Maybe I don't bother to nice it up, but at least my criticism are giving feedback to the person, rather then just sneaking off to laugh at them with friends.

But the guy in the car doesn't have billions of web pages to check and a convenient way of searching them, now does he?If the person is able to answered by googling a simple phrase, they likely didn't try very hard to seek the information.

In brief, there are many reasons.

Now, I'll tip my hand though I was pretty inclined not to...

It's an effort thing. My observation is that most of the people that tend to put little or no effort into their searches are also very thin skinned. However, those that do put in some effort but just can't search worth a damn and get a LMGTFY post in reply to a rudimentary question are pretty good natured about everything. The response to LMGTFY speaks volumes.
