Alright I was wondering... I'm currently strippin the hell out of my car, seats, carpet, tar, ac, heater, basically the works.... now I was thinking, since most of the weight being removed is from the back, this will change the front to back weight ratio even more so. Now would it actually be more beneficial to strip the car and then add some weight in the rear to try and make my car 50/50 or would it be better to just leave the ratio, and keep it stripped.

a trunk mount battery kit and fiberglass hood and fenders would help even the ratio back out.

event totally striped with a RB in the front wont throw the weight ratio off that much i would think. With all the weight you removed from AC and heater components i think you'll be fine (that crap weighs alot).

If you're going RB forget about 50/50. The RB adds alot of weight, about 180lbs IIRC, alot of that is in the transmission which sits in the middle, but more than half of the engine sits in front of the front suspension. RB swaps build killer drag cars. If you're looking for optimal handling, go SR or turbo your KA.

a 240sx equiped with a RB is still going to be a killer handler if the suspension is setup right.

I guess you could add extra weight to the rear to balance it out, then compensate with the insane amounts of power the RBs are capable of :D

Thats what I am trying to say... should I go for a lighter car or a less lighter car, but is closer to 50/50... and does being 50/50 make that much bigger of a difference to justify adding some weight?

Are you going to be road racing, a lot? If not, then don't worry about it.

Car: anything with wheels, and somethings without.

50/50 is ideal for roadracing, but if your main intention is drag racing you'll want to be as light as possible, and relocate any weight that can be to the rear.
