heyyyyyyy....thanx for the compliment

I bought the red spraypaint from advanced auto or some gay shop like that for 3.99. Its 500 degree heat rated engine paint. The only problem was that it was extremely thin, and required about 4 coats, and I plan on giving them 2 more coats this weekend. My friend and I put the rotors on and painted the calipers, including time to dry, in about 6 hours. The rotors were completely bolt in place of factory rotors, and the calipers are stock, I bought a wire brush, and spent about 5 minutes brushing each caliper good, and painted, waited 20 mins, painted, waited 20 mins....etc..till I thought they were good enough. A few more coats will help, so thats what I plan to do this weekend, and also remove my pinstripes, and "electrical tape".

i have an s13 coupe too, very nice one you got. i have slotted rotors instead on the rear, i got them from ricambisport.com for a cool $155. But they didn't come cadium-plated, so therefore, they have that rusty residue like oe brakes. But the work just as well, just more brake dust on my stock alloys now. a friend of mine told me that slotted rotors work best for single or dual piston calipers, that cross-drilled are best for 4 piston ones.. is that true? i got the slotted because they're stronger--supposedly

I like the rotors i've got cross-drilled --they're alot better than stock.

Was going to post the pics but they're too big.

TY for the compliments, I got all four of my slotted and cross drilled Brembo rotors which are coated to resist rusting for $199.If ya wanna know where, lemme know.

Matt

I really can feel a difference in stopping power. My rims are also only 1 week old, what do you all think of them? I love white on red, so it matched perfectly for my taste.

Those rotors look like EBC ones (maybe others, but I know EBC makes ones that look like that)....I thought Brembo made FULL cross-drilled and slotted, yours has lil "pits" that are drilled like 1/2 way through the rotor...

Of course I could be a moron, but that a given in any situation.

They all came factory sealed in Brembo boxes, properly labelled, and with instructions, I am sure they are Brembo rotors. I got them from http://www.raceconcepts.net Check them out...

They are Zinc coated to prevent rusting as well

see, I told you I was a moron :p

Honestly though, take a look the EBC rotors, they look exactly the same. I went to the Brembo site and I couldnt find any rotors that looked like that...must be some weird custom thing, especially since its in sets of 5.

i dunno where to find EBC rotors. Sets of 5 meaning, they have a Dutch auction for 5 sets of 4 rotors...so up to 5 people can win the auction.
