Looks real to me, but it's quite ugly, and the offset is unknown, it'll probably be very sunk on your 240sx.
Leave it for a Honda. :P

Ya 17x7 won't look good. You wanna go with some 17x8 or 17x8.5. You might have a nice look with the right tire/sidewall.

Who cares if it's legit or fake? The sizes are garbage for a 240. Keep looking. For a little more, you could buy cheap but brand new wheels in proper sizes...

For example:

See sig for more 4 lug options.

Haha, leave for a honda.

Cool thanks guys. Yeah I am tired of seeing those big stock circles every day. I've been looking for a good set.
I've had absolutely no luck in finding 4x114's. I think 17 is the biggest I'd want to go, 16 I'd be fine with.
I'll check out that link above. I'm in the 626 if anyone has something of the same style for sale. I like 6 and 7 spoke as well :D

Also, when I first started to hunt, I looked at xxr, the 522's of course haha, and came to the conclusion that I'd rather have a better rim, I've heard that they're not so durable. I've also heard xxr is not reputable haha.

They look real, but does it even matter if they are or not!! If they look the same, have the same names in them, and they weigh the same... does it matter if they are real or fake????????

To me it matters. not only because of the fact that they're boot legs, rip offs, fakes, but also they just may be made of cheaper metals etc.

Anybody in the sneaker game? It's kind of the same thing. Don't like straight fakes

Another question I wanted to ask is, what kind of company is Enkei? As in, is it like xxr, sportmax, OR like Volk, Rays, and Advan etc. Are they an original company? Or do they just make replicas?

Enkei makes the wheels for Formula 1 cars. You can't get any more legit than that.

XXR's hold up just fine for what they are: dirt cheapass wheels. If you bend or break one, who cares? It was like $100. Just buy another one ya cheap bastard! lol They're like throw away wheels that manage to look halfway decent.

Since your four lug, not much of the best selection out there.
IMO i'd just get XXR, or Rota. People over exaggerate how crappy they are.
I've personally never seen one break in person, and I've had some friends drift them for 3 years going on and tapped curbs.

Haha yeah enkei is a good brand.

Yeah I've never really dealt with rims, wheels and tires. Just trying to get a nice set till I get a job or some more money to improve.

For now I am just going off of what I read and see. And heard. I have just heard from some that xxr's are crap and that they are pretty good. That's good to hear ^^ if you know some that drifted them.

ANDso, I have got a bunch of people saying that these are legit enkeis. BUT NOW I GOT ONE SAYING THEY ARE FAKE!?

Are you just saying they are fake because they look different to you/ or do you know enkeis really well? I just want to know.

Anybody else? The thing that made me question them Was the engraving on the spoke, it's a little different from other EV5's ive seen

Real or fake those Enkeis would not look good on a 240.
Those look like they have a high offset and there only 7inches wide.
I'd steer away from those.

But to answer your question, those are R E A L Enkeis.

Only Enkeis I'd ever buy.

You have to take discussions about 'wheel quality' with a grain of salt. Yes, the manufacturing process of a Rota or XXR wheel is not going to be anywhere near the quality of a wheel from makers like Work, BBS, Enkei. But for the needs of the typical 240 owner who wants some decent to spice up his daily driver/drifter? XXR and Rota's are fine. They don't spontaneously combust like some forum trolls would like you to believe.

Now the Enkei's that you asked about? Seriously. Stop wondering if they are fake or not. Stop considering buying them. There are wheels for FWD cars and then there are wheels for RWD cars. Those you asked about are for FWD cars. A good starter size for an s13 would be something like 17x9+20. My sig has plenty of 4 lug wheels listed. Find a set you like and save up for them. You don't have to break the bank either. Just don't buy garbage sized wheels that you're only gonna want to get rid of in a year or so.
EnjoiNismo wrote:RPF1's Only Enkeis I'd ever buy.
:werd: But I wouldn't buy any 4 lug RPF1. Those sizes suck too. All the good Enkei's are 5 lug...

Now THESE are the Enkei's I like...

Haha yeah I guess 17x7 wont look too great. I was just interested in these because they WERE a four lug AND 4x114. I am having so much trouble finding that for an affordable price for me. I am not a big fan of 8+ spokes. I like 5,6, and 7 spoke wheels. I do like the RP03^^ just not chrome. And the one piece, not a big fan of 2 or 3 piece wheels.
I 'll just keep hunting then. Thanks for all the advise and help

Here's the thing: Get Honda prices out of your head. A RWD car like the 240 will require larger wheels than most FWD sized wheels, so expect to pay a little bit more. But again... CLICK MY SIG! I compiled a list of EVERY (properly sized for a 240) 4 lug wheel there is. Just look through it and save for what you really want.

don't be afraid of xxr's man, for a daily driver, they are great. I have the 006s and I love em, they were cheap, look good, and work just fine.

Yeah simmode1, I checked your 4lug thread. I am very picky haha. I kind of like the axis widetrack you researched. And obviously the p45r and grid. One of my favorite rims is the te37, But a bit too much for me right now :)

Yeah you guys have changed my view of rota and xxr a bit. I only like the xxr 522, pretty much the only wheel i like from them.

You guy's wouldn't like a 15x8 on your cars? What about 16x8?

Just my opinion, but th 522's look absolutely terrible. Like real donkey doo doo. The spokes stick out past the surface of the wheels face like "WTF"...

Might I suggest waiting until the new 527 comes out in January? Get four 17x9.75+25's with 7mm slip on spacers.
Image
If I had to make an educated guess, I'd say these wheels will probably be about $140 each. So cheap for such a nice size...

The "N" in Enkei on the spoke in the first pic looks pretty strange. Cheap casting by a knock off company maybe?

^^^That's exactly the reason why I questioned them. I didn't want to point it out because I wanted to see if someone would notice. It almost looks reversed haha. But Almost everyone is saying they're real

And simmon yeah, I don't like those. And I don't like how the 522's aren't flush either. It's just the only rim that they have that I like .

Now that someone has pointed that out, Take a look at this, side by side comparison:
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelClo ... chined+Lip
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/pt ... 38458.html

I don't think I'm going to get them but IDK ANYWAYS look at the spoke engraving, and just look at the spokes, look different?
OPINIONS!

They look the same to me.

Look, It is your car. Get whatever rims you'd like.
I went through three sets of rims till I found one I liked, even then I want something more. I wish someone told me about rims spec's before I bought my first set so I wouldn't have wasted about 1,000. We are just trying to help you and save you from a hargard stance/set up.

Anybody know if they make the 5Zigen GN+ in a 4x114?
