Why, that would be "funny".

She seems inteligent/mature for her age.

Just don't piss her off!!!!

I especially felt that way when I noticed this person took their face pic off this site. I'd sock a guy if he said some of those things to my sister...though I don't have a sister.

Alan, I do have a question though. You said this:

Do you think the "degrading" started with the "Most beautiful women" thread? There's some tasteful posts of "Real" women in that thread, but what about the no name nudies? I think that thread may have raised the bar on what is tolerable. Along with the nudity you get the comments or gawking and then it quickly turns into trash. I'm not saying it should be deleted (heck no it souldn't), but I just think it raised the bar for whats acceptable on Nico.
Its been around as long as NICO has had female members to be honest, but usually it was just quaint leghumping with a comedical approach with some people getting out of line from time to time. Now it has progressed beyond comedy and that is the point I am making. When I get IM's from our female members ranting about some guy e-molesting them it has gone too far... and this isn't just Vicki. It has happened before in the past as well.

I think Vicki would make a good moderator. She never really gets out of line and for the most part is accepting of conflicting ideologies.

However, I don't think we need another full moderator position yet for the forum. Implimenting the "female voice" by means of mod-ship (for lack of a better term lol) sounds like a good idea though, but then again NICO members are usually good about cleaning up stuff themselves once it has been made policy.

You should talk to Wes about that. He has been deleting threads on Infiniti General that are neither inappropriate nor "out of line".

Hehehehe.

He...He... He posted that he is going to do naughty things... I feel so violated .

"e-molesting" that's a new word to me.

This isn't a "lets complain about something" thread... if you feel Wes is "out-of-line" then I suggest you notify an administrator about it and support your aligations with evidence. Till then I don't care to hear any more about this matter, it has nothing to do with this thread.

Posting is also a form of written media as stated by the government. Harrassment online is the same as doing it in person. I'm not going to allow it, and I know for a fact that Greg won't stand for it. So how about we post like civilized people and not like a bunch of horny monkeys.

Interestingly, its very tender and light in color like chicken or quality pork. Its almost like eating white meat. The taste is very mellow.

Normally, I prefer regular beef or chicken. Veal is for special occasions.

Yup. Gotta love e-thugs. I think it's pathetic when guys try and hit on girls they probably will never meet in interest forums. What's even more pathetic is when some have such hatred towards people they've never met before. Then there are others who have had bad luck in life and insist on using an internet forum to try and feel strong and powerful. Haha. I won't name any names on this one. I bet if any of those people met me in person, they wouldn't say nearly half the things they've said to me in the past. It's easy when you're sitting in front of a screen with an alias and hundreds and thousands of miles away from the person whom you are harrassing.

Anyway, there are some members of the board I do enjoy. Alan has asked me to stay so I will. And wings you don't have to worry bout any moderating position because I definitely don't have hours on end, like some people, to devote to an internet forum.

I'm from North Carolina out in hicksville, do you really want me to treat them as I do my sister? *hick-up*

Luckily my self esteem isn't high enough to hit on girls and I have a short attention span which stops me from posting about anything non-gnome related for more than 4 sentences without a break.

I agree with the mods though, the threads did get taken out of hand pretty quickly. I just saw the beginning of them, didn't care to read on. It looked like people were posting like crazy on them, no idea how many posts it worked up too. One thing that is funny though, is that guys can hit on other guys all they want in forums but it usually doesn't get bad till they hit on women. Much like i'm still trying to "earn" more discounts for my brm exhaust till it's free.

Jesda said: "If you run around seeking attention, you might end up getting what you asked for."

That's sadly true when it comes to females posting on male-dominated forums, but more so for attenion-whore threads like: "pics of me and my car!" and stuff related to themselves. Pricks are always going to appear making inane comments. It's a given. I've found that the general chat, and the 240sx general chat have the lot of them. Forums where there's more info being tossed around are the most gender-neutral and more helpful pertaining to a given issue. But that's the only thing i use Nico for.

This isnt a gender issue. This is about someone putting themselves out in a way that makes them too vulnerable, and being dissatisfied with the inappropriate public response.

Incorrect sir, you might be refering to a particular aspect of the topic in question, but it does not encompass the given point. Regardless of weither or not they "ask" for it the result is often the same. I've seen pics of people posting their cars, and for every female member's posting it's always "I wanna see pics of you with your car", and it progresses from there. So in that regard it IS a gender issue.

By your logic if I were to walk around with $200 visable in my shirt pocket, am I then asking to be mugged? If I were indeed mugged, does that mean that it was a lesser offence? Actions are actions ...

On another note, we will not allow drama to progress from this thread. If you have a personal life motivation in your postings then I suggest you settle it outside of the forum. I think you are well aware of my point in this regard?

Sky and Jesda you said exactly what I was thinking! I have seen females come on here and post up the stereotypical "pics of me and my car" thread and then continue to post up suggestive pictures and replies on the site. By doing so leg humping slowly becomes expected and encouraged. Whether they are consciously intending to or not, they are seeking attention. It’s a kind of revolving door and they seem to disappear just as quickly as they got here. Unfortunately it sets a negative example for how male members should act when new female members come around. It’s just a part of a forum, just like ANY form (car related or not) you will have your attention whores, both male and female. If you are going to police leg humpers, don’t forget about the humpees. There is nothing wrong with joking and friendly flirting, its human nature, but there is a line that can be crossed. Think before you post, it’s as simple as that. It’s just called being considerate and having respect for yourself and others on the board. /end rant

Hi, I'm James, I'm a leghumper. (WHEW! feels SO good to finally get that out.)

I've surely crossed the line at some point whether I'm not aware or know I have. (I have I'm sure...)

but damn...a marriage proposal? ahahaahah

come on guys...there's a difference between leghumping (normal gratuitous positive comments) and being an e-stalker (the above mentioned proposal and emails and all that crap.

I've learned to draw a line in the sand...perhaps others can too, or be met with a swift smack in the head. (perhaps a box to the ears?)

we're not all gonna agree or necessarily like each other...be it in person or whilst e-mingling....but let's not bicker over spilled milk or thrown away p0rn k kiddies?

I for one want EVERYONE to stay (more so the ladies then the damn dirty sausage). So, in closing, I say we all pretend to be gay. Yes. Gay.

We'll merely compliment the lady folk in the manner of say...."oh girlfriend those shoes are TOO DIE for!" and "oooo I love LOVE those beads on your mirror!" and for the braver of you...."oh god honey, those SR's rev so smooth and have a good torque band...ughh they just make me gush! Oh god...I'm gonna have to go to the bathroom if I keep this up!"

only together and united under a flag of love can we truly show FA just how gay we can be! (think bohica;))

Stand fast and stay hard men, we gotta protect our women from ourselves!

Well, Gay = Happy. I'm usually happy, is that what you mean?

1: bright and pleasant; promoting a feeling of cheer; "a cheery hello"; "a gay sunny room"; "a sunny smile" [syn: cheery, sunny] 2: full of or showing high-spirited merriment; "when hearts were young and gay"; "a poet could not but be gay, in such a jocund company"- Wordsworth; "the jolly crowd at the reunion"; "jolly old Saint Nick"; "a jovial old gentleman"; "have a merry Christmas"; "peals of merry laughter"; "a mirthful laugh" [syn: jocund, jolly, jovial, merry, mirthful] 3: given to social pleasures often including dissipation; "led a gay Bohemian life"; "a gay old rogue with an eye for the ladies" 4: brightly colored and showy; "girls decked out in brave new dresses"; "brave banners flying"; "`braw' is a Scottish word"; "a dress a bit too gay for her years"; "birds with gay plumage" [syn: brave, braw] 5: offering fun and gaiety; "a gala ball after the inauguration"; "a festive (or festal) occasion"; "gay and exciting night life"; "a merry evening" [syn: gala]

That is freakin hilarious. You start posting things like that Mr1!!!
