Hey guys,

This post is for anyone out there who's heard (or knows) anything about the new regulations in Canada. One of my buddies works at an import shop in central BC that works on JDM 300zx's and Skylines all the time so my source is pretty reliable.

Apparently there are new rules that were just passed that, in the simplest explanation possible, will allow us to import and drive any year of Skyline (or any other import). That means, R33, R34, etc. I think the more complicated explanation was that you had to import ONE and get it inspected and passed, and once it was cleared you could do it over and over. Or maybe it was something like, no matter what year of car you want registered, as long as the make, in any year, has been cleared, they're all legal. I'm not too sure.

Anyone heard anything else about this?

I'd still prefer the GT-R 32 for myself, but was thinkin about importing some newer ones and distributing them.

D

PRobably redundant, but....I researched that idea (I actually work for a Canadian company so thought that might help me get one in here).

The rule is that the date of manufacture, down to the month, must be 15 years prior to the current date.
