To any of the canadian members on these forums, turbocharging a 240sx or getting an sr swap. are they legal?? if not what kind of punishment will you face, and in what ways can cops find out and stuff.

IDK ABOUT THAT.. BECAUSE WHATS THE REAL DIFFERENCE U KNOW.. IF I TURBOED MY KA.. WHATS THE ILLEGAL PART OF IT AS APPOSED TO IF I HAD A 300ZX TWIN TURBO.. ITS NOT LIKE THEY'RE DIFFERENT.. I MEAN I THINK YOU COULD FIGHT IT.. BECAUSE IF FORCED INDUCTION IS ILLEGAL THEN SUPERCHARGERS AND TURBOS WOULDNT BE ALLOWED ON STOCK CARS...JOE
all the cops care about is
1. all your lights work2. you dont make too much noise3. you pass emmisions4. liscence plate front and back
other than that your good to go, in canada anyway.
but if they get picky, engine has to be newer or same age as the car, and i dont think multi car transplants are legal either ( like a stang engine in a civic)
