Hi, I have an s13 and im planning on working on my engine in a couple of months. I was gonna spend my money on looks cause everything seems to be illegal here, and I can't do **** to my engine. But that's my question, what can I do to my KA24E to raise the HP, how fast can I make it with legal parts?

I tried searching but I got some results that were pointless, and s13's with KA-T's. Not what im looking for.

Anyone that can help please do

Thanks

well you can lighten all of your pulleys so that you can get a little better throttle response, i know there are some cams you can buy that will give you more power and still be street legal, you can port your head just a little to where you can feel the power and still pass smog, and you can get LSD, light flywheel, e-fans, headers, exhaust, MSD ignition, and then get it tuned right by a pro? I am pretty sure you can get up to 200hp or close to it (all 50 state legal). (correct me if i am wrong)

Is everything you mentioned available for the KA24E? most of the stuff I see are for the DOHC not SOHC.

What kind of pulleys can I get for the KA(SOHC)? I can't find any others then the stock ones.

A stock VQ, what cars have that engine, haven't even read on it, all I've read up on is RB's, SR's, KA's, 2Jz's. Im guessing it's from a g35 or something? would that actually be legal though? everything's illegal here.lol

Yeah its the G35/350Z. If it passes emissions i dont see why not. Just badge your car as a 350z lol

vq35 is from the g35/s50z. and the only way it is cali legal is if you swap the entiire emissions system. there's lots of info on nico for it.

That would be sik, I would like the G35 engine it sounds awsome, but it would need dual exhaust huh, around how much would that cost though, to have it here legally?
