I'm not sure if this is where I should post this but here it goes. What steps would one take to get back money paid for services not rendered? It's been an ongoing process of broken promises and the person not following thru with deadlines. I have about 3 g's into this so its not so easy to forget about it. Any advise on what or how I should go about sueing or other doing any other alternatives?

Start by collecting all documentation. Such as checks, reciepts and agreements. Also make note of any verbal agreements on certain dates. Then check your local phone book for a good lawyer. Start calling and if you can't find anyone at first, ask if they could point you in the right direction to somebody. Also your best bet would be going to small claims court which you can easily represent yourself if you come prepaired. In small claims court I think the biggest settlement you can get is 2K or 3K here, I don't know the laws or court system by you. Good luck with the situation.
