Left turn signal broken 05 Altima

Hey all.

As of this morning my left turn signal stopped working in an odd way. When I flip it on it blinks once and then stops. Also when it stops I hear like a squealing noise along with it.

It something shorting out?

I recently did replace the stereo by myself, and the brake lights stopped working until I undid one of the connections with the stereo.

Sounds to me like the turn signal flasher relay is bad, I believe it is in the steering column. If you turn on the hazards you should hear clicking and that will help you locate the relay.

Hmm there’s no clicking sound.
