Left steering wheel controls and instrument panel lighting not working?

My 2014 pathfinder's instrument panel lighting and the left side controls on the steering wheel just stopped working! I have checked the fuses and have not found any to be blown. I have also tried to brighten the cluster but to no avail. I was wondering if anyone has any idea what this might be? I have been looking online and it looks like it might be that I need to replace the "clock spring". Any ideas are appreciated as It is hard driving at night with no dash illumination.

2014 Pathfinder? Aren't you still under factory warranty?

No, bought it used and was already out of warranty.
