Left Power Window S13

My driver side power window does not go up or down, my right window works fine.The buttons for the left panel only work for the right window, but the left one doesn't work.I opened the small panel where the buttons are and reconnected them to see if it was that and it wasn't.Now theres only two things. It can be the whole motor or the amp.Is there a possible way I can know for sure which one it is? Auto store is charging me like 150 for a the whole motor, they said they don't sell the amps, I looked on E-bay and found the amp for around $50, now I just need to know which would be the smarter investment, I don't want to buy the amp for it, and not work and have to buy a motor anyway, and then I don't want to buy an expensive motor when I could just buy the amp.

its probably the amp... they tend to go out alot.

Are the s13 and s14 amps the same? I found some more on e-bay cheaper, but they say s14, are they compatible with an s13?

yes the s13 and s14 amps are interchangable in fact i have an s14 window amp on my s13 right now cuz my dumass broke the other one : P

S14 one works and is alot faster than the slow s13 stockers. IMO
