left headlight wont turn on?

so i was leaving my friends house and i noticed my left headlight wasnt coming on. so i went to advance and got me a new bulb. put it in and it still wont come on. all my other lights work. and so do the high beams. What is the problem? a short or something in the line? how hard would it be to replace. and its on 95 s14

idk about s14's but check the fuse box for fuses there should be 2 i know there is on the s13. If that doesn't work get a multimeter and check to see if your getting pwoer to the bulb if not then trace it back till you get power then you'll know what the problem is.

i checked the fuses and i cant follow the wire far enough back to check it for power. but the high beams still come on? im stumped im no electrician. could a shop find the problem or will they just replace the bulb.

maybe the switch on your steering column i know on s13's this can cause problems you can try taking it to a shop but make sure its not a lazy shop
