Welcome to NICO!!!

I'm assuming you have a Canadian car with Daytime Running Lights(DRL).

I'm not sure of the correlation between left headlights and radio lights...it may be coincidence. I don't think both are on the same fuse (anyone know? Dominick? Yoda? Wes?)

If one or both headlights is flickering

(a.) check to make sure your bulbs are of proper wattage (55w) to much can screw things up.(b.) run the car and tap the DRL module (light grey box located on driver side, close to the front fender, under the hood) with a screwdriver. If tapping affects the way your headlights work, you likely need a new DRL module.

Hmm sounds weird.

As far as I know the light and radio are defenitely not on the same circuit so they dont share a fuse.

Are you sure that the light works in conjunction with the radio light?? It may just be a coinsidence.

I would say to change your headlight relay. There is lots of info on the fuzzycats site about this, then go from there.

Also you can check the fuses under the steering wheel on the left. Those are all the accessory fuses.

Thanks!!! Nice friendly place you have here...

The Car is an American, no daytime running lights, I keep it in Los Angeles for when I am down here.

I did put a new bulb in, then bought another one, just in case that was faulty. I changed both head light fuses that are in the box by the battery.

There seems to be a connection between radio lights and the left headlight, I know that is weird and makes not sense. The radio works all of the time, just the lights go out when the left headlight is not working.

I also have another problem but I will put that in a different thread.

Would the headlight relay work or not work for just one of the headlights?

Will try tapping the DRL module, appreciate that tip.

Thanks

Stan

the fuses are definitely different for the radio and the headlights.

As I remember each side Left and Right has different fusses. the only correlation can be created I think throught the headlight switch or relays somewhere as the radio lights are on when the switch is in the 2nd or 3rd position. It can be the headlight module. The left side and the right side have different sets of relays so its possible. Check the wires first, make sure that they are not shortened to the body. Then I would check the headlight unit.
