Hey guys, how can i simulate the flasher signal on a power supply to test what resistance is right....I have a digital logic board and 555 adjustable clock timer...anybody with experience on how the circuit works? Id like to test resistances before i solder them into the circuit of my qx4. I wana do front and rear turn signals, and obviously know the no load effect and need for a resistance. I read on a site that a 6 ohm 50 watt resistor works.

also, any tips on how i can keep this addition waterproof? radioshack buffs help me out!

http://www.superbrightleds.com....htmlscroll down to electronic led flashers, you just have to replace the flasher in the fuse area, no soldering involved.

Is it this thing?:

And you just replace the stock flasher relay with this and that's it?

It's one of the three relays that are under the dash next to fuses?:

Got some LED rear turn signals and they hyper flash.
