So if you guys have seen my thread where I cleaned my car and took a little photo shoot (if you haven't, its here: washed-my-car-t555371.html) you can see my tail lights. Those tail lights are similar to the ones sold on ebay through CTR. I bought them through another company though. Not sure if I can post the name here. I read the FAQ and didn't see anything against it. I bought the tails through CarID.

Anyhoo, I had a very similar issue to that of Gary2010 where some LED bulbs burned out. Albeit, they burned out a year and 3 months after I bought them rather than a month after I bought them.

If memory serves, he bought through ebay, and I never found out if he got his money back or not. I definitely recommend looking into CarID if you guys haven't before. They are replacing them outside of the manufacture warranty for free. I'll be getting new tails soon for freeeeee. :D Hopefully they wont burn out again.

CarID is a respectable website but it's also one of the most expensive dealers out there. Glad you managed to get the issue fixed. Do you have any videos of those tails in action? I've always wanted to see one.

When I get the new ones, I'll put up the video of the fully functioning tail lights. The LED swap really made them look a lot better. Amber turn signals looks a LOT better than white turn signals.

Those white LED turn signals are exceptionally good at night or in the rain, when weaving through traffic. However when at a stop light at night, it blinds the sh¡t out of anyone behind me.

I've had these tails for about 6 or 7 months. The LEDs are still working, but this thread is making me a tad nervous. I got the tails on ebay for about $220 for the pair, though. Not a huge loss if they go out.

You really do get what you paid for! These things are so mass produced, who knows the QC on them....
