LED Tail light hacking into tail lights

Has anyone ever seen this done? I was just wondering, Id like to try it on my 180 kouki tails..I was thinking kits like these, and just stick em into the tail light housings..http://www.buytruckstuff.com/p...D=229

Like just cut/remove the lense on them, and somehow squeze them into your tai l light housing.

I wonder if those things are duel filiment?
