Where could one buy one of the switches to put in the location of one of the blanks (assuming one doesn't have all the options filled up)? I'm considering aftermarket under dash/footwell lighting. There seems to be plenty of inexpensive options out there, but I'm not thinking that I want to remove all the trim required to get a switch to the center console storage compartment (which is where the factory one goes). Seems like a logical place for the switch would be right beside the forward collision button. Maybe I'm missing something, but this just looks like the obvious place to put the switch, right beside the last used slot. Figure if I can find a blank, I'll label it LED, and then wire it up.

I don't think you will find a switch the same size and shape as the others.

Maybe consider drilling a hole in one of the empty blank covers and put in a switch like this?

Can you utilize , gotten from the J-yard , one of those switches that fit in there -Cover wording/symbols using "spray paint- for plastics " (black ? then put like- Brother label ,w/white background) Label yours apropriately.
 That may be the neatest - closest to stock look. G 2/27/2018

Wow, that's a pretty simple and straight forward solution. Hadn't thought about drilling into the blank. Thanks for the suggestion.

I had thought about the salvage yard, just don't know of many close by. But that is an option as well.
