Nice truck, and since I know how much you like LED's;

Aftermarket side-view mirror turn signal indicators!

I actually want to try this when I have the time.

Nice job! I was going to suggest replacing the license plate bulbs, and was wondering how bright the turn signals were during the day, but you answered those questions in your update.

I think you should replace your dashboard illumination, turn indicators, and bright indicator with LEDs too, you can find my results here and a guide on the process here.

You can also replace the ashtray light, glove box light, A/C controls illumination (if you have manual knobs), shifter, and window switch packs.

You don't need to remove the instrument cluster if your hands are small enough to reach behind the cluster to remove the twist bases. You can tilt the cluster left or right (within reason of course) to help access them. You just twist them and they come out.

As for your auto A/C controls, read here.

The window switches require disassembly of the switches and soldering, see guide here.

Sizing guide of all interior bulbs is here.

If youre going to up your sound, go all the way... amp the speakers change wiring and add a sub. Go big or go home. I spent nearly 3000 and all the stuff i bought was near cost (buddy hook up)

Im an Alpine guy.

I have Component Type R's in the front and Coaxial Type X in the back. Powered by Alpine MRP 600 4 channel.

Running 1 12" Type R sube with a Mono 1k. And that in itself pounds. I have a second sub but I have yet to put that in till I gather my funds for a custom box.

Currently I have these:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/1999-2004-NISSAN-PAT ... 45f95ef67e

Which are better put together than these:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/99-01-Nissan-Pathfin ... 41578f63d3

Its best just to spend the extra couple of bucks for the first ones because the rubber doesn't fall off and not fit like the other ones...

Yup, At first I had the cheap ones

Then this happened;

Image

I still have the passenger-side of that set, note the jagged rubber edge

As I was never really happy with the quality of the first set I went for the more expensive ones for round two.

They are still on the truck and I didn't feel like taking them out for pics. Granted the fit still isn't as good as OEM, they are still better than the cheap set.

Here you can see that between the rubber and the curve of the fender there is about 1/16th of an inch gap if that. You can only notice it from one specific angle that I couldn't really capture.
Image

Here, the top of the cornor is sunken in a bit compared to the headlight

Image

Here the bottom is sticking out a bit further than the headlight.

Image

And here is what it looks like from a bit of a distance

Image

As far as I know, I can't easily adjust this. The back of the cornor is held in a ball and socket fastener and the top is held with a screw to the headlight.

I still prefer this over OEM orange

No problem, and right after that you'll tackle the side-view mirror turn indicators right? :dblthumb:
