That is a sweet website! Do you think it would be a good idea to go with the wide spread LED bulb or a standard LED spread?

all depends on the type of light you want. if you want it all spread out over the plate or just kinda growing slowly out on the plate...i have crappy leds i got from a friend that are narrow an di like the way they look bc its not to bright and kinda fades down the plate. ill post up pics later.

I have an 05 Altima with widespread or I believe they're sometimes called "superflux" (?) bulbs above my license plate in cool white. They definitely compliment my smoked out LED taillights - the car looks SO HOT from behind at night - and that's all that matters, because I'm usually ahead of everyone anyway

Here are pics of mine. I've had them about a year. I believe I ordered them from http://www.SuperBrightLEDs.com

They really compliment my smoked LED tail lights.

It is state specific. In NJ they can't be police colors (blue/red), and I believe you have to maintain some hue of white for clarity purposes.

Like E said, if you don't put some crazy color back there the cops aren't going to mess with it. Stick with white or something similar. Red is calling for trouble.

Which led did you order from that site? I want a white bulb and I would like it to be really bright and spread out over the plate.

I order mine from v-leds and the ones I got were too bright for my 05 Altima I like them a bit fade down the plate. May have to order the other type again
