I am trying to put together a list of current part numbers from V-LEDS to do the interior on my 07 M35.
Do you guys think these lights will work and provide enough light?

Front dome (map) - http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/Corn ... 00865.html

Rear dome (map) - http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/Dome ... 08258.html

Front door - http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/Corn ... 81039.html

Rear door - http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/Corn ... 81039.html

I believe this covers everything on the interior except the footwells. If you arent going to replace the black lens cover with a clear one then its not worth buying the bulbs. Anyone have any changes / suggestions? Thanks!!!!

or simply replace them with ones from the trunk as I did and I just left trunk lights uncovered, not really care about trunk light as much as front ones to protect from dirt, dust etc... hth

Is it from VLEDS? Did you just plug it into the socket for the existing footwell light or wire it in another way? Could you post a couple pictures?

I got it from ebay. I have to replace my passanger LED Strip because it got broken somehow. Im going to replace it probably tomorrow so im going to take a couple of pic to give you an idea how i did it. I plugged the wires not into the socket, but to the connector ( had to take the socket out and there is white connector )

These will work but there is a chance you may have to switch the polarity on the front map LEDs. I went with the DIY 6-LEDs for the map & domes and ordered the BA9s and 31mm bases that they plug into. My reasoning is that for the fronts it's much easier to swap the pins on the DIY connector than it would be to completely disassemble the LED assembly and have to resolder connections. I just wanted to have matching rears so I got them all.

These are in my footwells:

These are in all 4 doors and my front parking lights:

For some reason all the good stuff is out of stock. I still need some trunk lights too, and am considering the fogs so that's what I'll use my next 15% coupon for

They're probably out of stock for a lot of the good stuff since they did the 50% off promotion for 20 minutes a week ago.

I remember that. They did it twice, during the week. I missed them both :frown:

Do the footwell lights only come on when the rest of the interior lights do? Is there a way to have them on while the headlights are on?

I think what I really meant to ask was that the normal operation is for the footwell lights to only come on with the rest of the interior lights, like when you turn the car off, or first enter; correct? I think it would be nice if they were on anytime the headlights were. It would be a nice ambiance with clear covers and amber bulbs, or whatever color to match your interior.

I have not ordered mine yet. I am no expert, but have read on here that the polarity might be wrong on the LEDs. Maybe someone else can chime in, as I dont know much about this.

m4m, did you get the problem figured out? what did you end up doing to get the front and rear dome lights to work?

Go to the following link for the most COMPLETE conversion for a 2007 M. I posted all these two years ago and am just now back.

I converted the MAP lights and replaced all the others with much experimentation in the process.

Let me know if the link doesn't work.

You should change out your domes with the ones I used. They're much brighter. V-LEDS will take back your old ones.

And your door lights...if you keep the ones you have, put some foil behind them to they'll reflect. I tried those and they weren't as bright as the ones i used because they point in 5 different directions....for what it's worth.

Anyone have a code for V-leds besides the 5% off? How much is the code for in the newsletter monthly? Thanks!
